Nel 1891 si recò in Inghilterra dove lavoraòper le chiese cattoliche e diresse una scuola d’arte, prima a Manchester, poi a Londra. Durante un soggiorno di vent’anni, eseguì molte opere di restauro e affresco, specie nel duomo di S. Giuseppe a Blackburn e a Kimbolton Castle nel Cambridgeshire, sede dei duchi di Manchester. Tornò in Italia nel 1910.
In 1891, he travelled to England, where he worked for the Catholic churches and managed an art school, first in Manchester and then in London. During his twenty-year stay, he engaged in many projects of fresco and restoration, especially in the cathedral of S. Giuseppe in Blackburn and at Kimbolton Castle in Cambridgeshire, the seat of the Dukes of Manchester. He returned to Italy in 1910. |
