Si trasferì da giovane a Edimburgo, e a luglio del 1884 si sposa in seconde nozze con Georgina Catherine Lewis, di Ormiston, Scozia. Nel 1885 tornò in Italia, forse visitando la Gran Bretagna nel 1902-1903. Presentò opere di soggetto inglese in Italia: a Milano e Genova nel 1885 Ricordi d’Inghilterra, Ricordo delle Rupi Bianche (Inghilterra), Ricordo del fiume Ouse (Inghilterra) e ancora a Roma nel 1903, On Loch Katrine (Scozia), e nel 1906 Ricordi (Inghilterra).
He removed to Edinburgh while still young, and in July 1884, Georgina Catherine Lewis, of Ormiston, Scotland, became his second wife. He returned to Italy the following year, perhaps visiting Great Britain again in 1902-1903. He exhibited views of Great Britain in Milan and Genoa in 1885: Ricordi d’Inghilterra (Souvenir of England), Ricordo delle rupi bianche, Inghilterra (Souvenir of the white cliffs), Ricordo del Fiume Ouse (Souvenir of the River Ouse). In Rome, he exhibited On Loch Katrine, Scozia (On Loch Katrine in Scotland) in 1903, and Ricordi, Inghilterra (Souvenirs of England) in 1906.
